Brooklyn Bowl is known to put the rum in drum with an eclectic selection of beverages, musical performances and feasts by Blue Ribbon. Yelp reviews have praised the Rock and Roll Fries that made one reviewer feel like they “died and went to heaven” whilst others have rocked and raved about the fried chicken and a guest DJ appearance by Quest Love.

Doors open at 12pm for all ages with no cover until 6pm.

Father’s Day may be about warming dad’s heart, but TriniSoul will ignite dad’s tastebuds. In TriniSoul’s Caribbean kitchen, transport dad to a beachy getaway one dash, sprinkle and stir at a time. Yelp reviews have been mixed with some reviews criticizing customer service whilst others praise their friendliness and cooking that’s even better than their mom’s!

The Father’s Day menu includes ackee and codfish bruschetta, codfish fritters, mojo jerk chicken wings, coconut rice and more.

You’ll have a generous tasting of each dish and leftovers can be taken home! The cooking class is held from 11am to 3pm.

Unconditional love for dad isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon – or half marathon! For New York fathers and those of us who love them, the NYCRUNS Father’s Day Half Marathon is the chance to speed through the super flat and fast running path that hugs the southern edge of Brooklyn with scenic views of the Verrazano Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. With a three hour limit and medals and techie shirts for all finishers, everyone’s winner! The marathon has a three hour limit with awards given to the top three male and female runners as well as the top three in each ten year age group.

The half marathon starts at 8am with bib pick up at 7am. Bag check and bathrooms will be provided and water and Gatorade will be available throughout the course.
